Position Summary:
Our bustling ship repair yard is searching for a passionate and skilled professional to join our Finance Department. If you're ready to dive into a full-time role where you'll report directly to the Finance Director and play a crucial part in our financial operations, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Payable & Receivable Accounts: Keep our financials in check and running smoothly.
- Conduct Monthly/Adhoc Payment Runs: Ensure timely and accurate payments.
- Perform Petty/Bank Account Reconciliations: Maintain accuracy in all transactions.
- Handle Project Costing: Oversee costing duties for ship repair/conversion projects.
- Analyse Project Costs: Provide insightful work- in-progress reports.
- Prepare Month-End and Year-End Accounts: Formulate detailed management accounts.
- Support Finance Team: Assist and guide our Accounts Assistant.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Qualifications: Fully qualified chartered accountant (ACCA/accounting degree required).
- Experience: Solid background in Accounts/Finance; auditing experience is a plus.
- IT Proficiency: Excellent skills in Microsoft Office 365, Excel, AX Dynamics, or Business Central.
- Attributes: Responsible, reliable, dedicated, and trustworthy with excellent communication skills.
- Languages: Fluency in English and Spanish.

Join our dynamic ship repair yard as a proactive and detail-oriented Office Administrator. This full-time role, reports directly to the HR Manager.
Position Summary:
The Office Administrator ensures smooth office operations from the reception desk, handling a variety of tasks to support managers and employees. Responsibilities include reception duties, administrative tasks, and managing general office activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer and manage incoming calls
- Greet clients and visitors
- Provide administrative support to HR, Payroll, Finance, and QHSE departments
- Manage databases
- Coordinate paperwork with foremen
- Maintain office
- Occasionally transport clients
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Experience as an Office Administrator, Admin Assistant, or Receptionist
- Fluent in English and Spanish
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong organisational skills in a fast-paced environment
- Professional and proactive
- Valid motorbike and car driving licenses
Compensation & Benefits:
- Work hours: Monday to Thursday 08:00 – 16:30, Friday 08:00 – 15:30
- 22 days of annual paid leave plus 12 bank holidays
